How To Make A Low Carb Pizza
Hello ladies, most of us are willing to follow a strict diet especially right before the summer, but we can’t deny that the smell of our neighborhood pizzeria isn’t torture . Well lucky for you in today’s blog I am going to give you the recipe on how to make a low carb pizza. A pizza you can enjoy with half the guilt.
This recipe is for 1 pie
Ingredients-
1 Head of a cauliflower
1 Egg
Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
Pepperoni or your choice of toppings
Pizza sauce or tomato sauce ( preferably a low carb sauce)
Oregano powder
Garlic powder
Parmesan cheese
Salt ( preferably sea salt)
Items-
Measuring Cups
Measuring Spoons
Clean cloth or clean t Shirt that you no longer want to use
Blender or a food processor
2 Clean bowl
Clean small flat plate
Baking pan
Non stick parchment paper
Steps –
Start of by cutting of the stem of the cauliflower head. We only need the top of the veggie
Pull apart the cauliflower into small enough pieces that you can fit into your food processor
With a knife you are going to take off any excess pieces of stem only to be left with the top
Wash the cauliflower and then put it into the food processor until it looks like cauliflower rice
You’re going to get the bowl the measuring cup and the small flat plate
Measure 4 cups of the chopped up cauliflower using your measuring cup and then put it into the bowl
Use the small flat plate as a lid to the bowl , pop it into the Microwave for 4 minutes
While that is in the microwave grab the other clean bowl to mix all the dry ingredients
Measure a ¼ cup of parmesan cheese, put in the clean bowl
Measure a ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese , put in clean bowl
Measure a ¼ table spoon of salt, put in bowl
Measure a ¼ table spoon of oregano , put in bowl
Measure ¼ table spoon of garlic powder, put in bowl
Once everything is in the bowl give it a good mix and put it to the side
Take the cauliflower out of the microwave, take the lid of and put to the side for about 5 minutes to cool off
While that is cooling off pre heat your oven at 425 degrease
When the cauliflower cools down grab your cloth and pour the veggie in the center, you’re going to the squeeze out all the excesses water
Once you have gotten rid of all the excess water you are going to put the cauliflower into the bowl that you had mixed all your dry ingredients in ,you are also going to add 1 whole egg and give it a good mix
Once its mixed grab your baking pan and parchment paper , start to flatten out the cauliflower so that it looks like the crust of a pizza
Put in the oven for about 10 minutes every ones oven works differently so don’t be afraid to give it the fork check
When you take it out of the oven add your sauce, Mozzarella cheese and the toppings you like
Pop it back in the oven for 5 minutes to let the cheese melt
Then BOOM! You have a tasty low CARB pizza. A healthier alternative for a cheat meal that you can always enjoy and not feel as guilty about. Hope you love it as much as I do till next time.
